Shopping District Virtual World

Hello! In the next days I will start rolling out the new Shopping District. It’s basically a new city where the public shops (non-player owned) will be located along with places to chat and socialize. Moving many socializing players to a different city will improve the performance and lower lag for players in Capital City.

Here is the initial changes:

• The bus stop will no longer offer shortcuts to move to public areas, as everything will be in walking distance
• The bus stop will show a new city to pick: “Shopping District”
• New players and guests will arrive in the Shopping District from now on
• The city selection window will now be accessible from your mini-map (as opposed as only bus stops)

In phase 2:

• I will remove the public shops from the Capital City and make the spots available for player houses.
• The 4 lots around the center of the city will remain public areas and non-buyable, just as in Northern Breeze.

In Phase 3: (Still to be confirmed, may change)

• I will make player lots available in the Shopping District but beware, the cost of a property there will be much higher than the 800 credits of other cities.
• Player will still be able to open shops in Capital City and Northern Breeze as today.
